**Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all!**
I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to all my clients for their patronage and understanding throughout 2024. Your support means everything to me.
Please note that I will be closing on the 24th of December and will reopen on January 17.
On a personal note, 2024 has been quite challenging for me. My father had to undergo triple bypass surgery and an aorta replacement in June, which led to three weeks in intensive care and another two weeks in Burnie Hospital. While he still has a long journey ahead, every new day with him is a blessing. Despite these challenges, I have remained dedicated to my work, providing the best possible care to each of my clients from morning to late afternoon.
I am deeply moved by the testimonials I receive from clients. The thought and effort you put into sharing your experiences truly blows my mind. Knowing the impact my treatments have on your physical, mental, and spiritual well-being is incredibly rewarding. Thank you so much. **Remedial Massage**
I would like to expand on last year’s post about the advantages of remedial massage and my unique approach. Many clients tell me they have never experienced anything like my treatments. I begin by setting the scene with thorough client consent information, followed by appropriate testing and range-of-movement assessments to pinpoint issues. I explain the anatomy in layman’s terms so the client understands, and then I outline the necessary steps for their remedial treatment.
I apply the appropriate pressure and techniques, such as circulation, mobilisation, traction, and glide, to make a significant impact on the soft tissues and surrounding muscle groups. After the treatment, I discuss stretching, joint loosening, and strength and conditioning exercises with the client to ensure lasting results.
